Well, despite being busy today I was able to accomplish a lot. I learned a ton about simulations, materials and particles. It was all pretty interesting and extremely fun. I had hoped to have gotten a little more done, but the weekends are busy with family and such.
Here is what I knocked out. It's almost photo realistic water flowing into a glass with melting ice cubes. I think that as I go along learning the plethora of hotkeys blender has to offer will make things go a lot faster. Right now, for the most part, I am a menu clicker. I'll be hunting down a detailed cheat sheet probably tomorrow.
