About Groone's World
Groone's World is a website designed by Russ "Groone" Bennett (call him Groone on the web) for his hobby of doing web stuff. The word 'stuff' is being used here to explain a plethora of things he does on the web and not the dictionary meaning of objects one may have in one's possession. As such, the stuff is in regard to skillful php programming, image editting, and website development. Most of the stuff Groone does on the web has to do with creating free apps and designing free websites for friends and families. The web design stuff he also does for charity and sometimes will take donations and gifts for his services. He hopes one day someone will buy him a new computer because the one he does his web stuff on is almost 10 years old, has 1.5GB of RAM and a single core AMD processor - It's really behind the times for the type of work he does.
Groone is, in a sense, a starving artist. He loves his hobby, and could probably make a lot of money doing it but he doesn't. When asked why, he will generally smile and say that it's a hobby and he wants to help out because he enjoys it and it makes people happy.
Groone was born on April 11, 1965. This day was termed "The Palm Sunday Disaster." On April 11, 1965, the worst tornado outbreak in U.S. history hit several Midwest states, leaving more than 250 people dead, 1,500 injured and property damage approaching half a billion dollars. Groone ensures people that his birth was not the cause of this outbreak of massive destruction and in no time since he has been alive has he ever knowingly changed the weather.
I could go on babbling for hours about Groone, but quite frankly I have other things to do so let me tell you one thing about this man. If he is your friend, then you have a friend for life. A man that is as honest and loyal as the day is bright. He is brutally honest and will tell you more often than not what you don't want to hear. He does not believe in sugar coating anything. He will also make you laugh when you are down and will lend an ear when you need to talk. Groone is a friend.
